Wow! Fantastic! It's a great book too so it ought to sell some of your other books. And never mind the money....this has got to mean readers!

I've already seen my other titles pick up sales today. Very cool. And yeah, it's a fun ride. I'm hoping that the people who downloaded it not only buy the other books, but you know, READ them.

I got it in hardcover when it first came out, but I have a Kindle so I just ordered the electronic version. That will add one more "sale" to the count.

I'm really glad to see you score as a best seller. Forever after this, every book you write will be able to carry the slogan "Amazon.com best-selling author" -- Not just every book, but every reference to you in publicity or a book review or a book news column will refer to you as "Amazon.com best-selling author Mark Terry" -- Wow! That is awesome!

Congratulations!

Congratulations! Even though it's free, that's still pretty awesome and can only help other titles (and this one later on).

Quick question: should the Derek Stillwater books be read in sequential order or does it really matter?
On a side note I picked up Valley of Shadows on sale and have loved it so far. It's is awesome and accurate and detailed enough to keep you interested but not too much as to bore you (like other authors...Clancy.) I am speaking as somebody who works in the intelligence community. This book series seems very good and I look forward to reading the other stories.

BoBrooks - Thanks. That's nice to hear.

In terms of them being read in order, well, no, for the most part they can be read in any order, they all standalone.

That said, I generally think readers would enjoy The Fallen a bit more if they've read The Devil's Pitchfork first. The Serpent's Kiss definitely stands alone.
