Too Bad I Don't Speak French

July 30, 2007
I see they kept the same cover for The Devil's Pitchfork French edition. Cool. Hope I get a copy soon. Too bad I don't speak French, but I gather I am "formidable," at least when Joe Konrath is translated into French. I kind of like that.

Cheers,
(or perhaps bon soire!)

Congratulations, Mark. Soon you'll be spanning the world with foreign language versions.

"— Joe Moore, co-auteur de La Conspiration du Graal."

Apparently, my name in French is still Joe Moore. :-)

Felicitations, Terry!

The best I can manage for your nom francais is Marc Terri. As for Joe, dude, you are still "Joseph" in French. But maybe you could be "Joseph Encore," which bodes well for a sequel. Or "Joseph Plus" which lets folks know you have a co-author.

When I finally get to France I get to be P.J. Paroisse. :)

Any of the foreign versions that use the Latin alphabet keep it as Lynn Sholes & Joe Moore except Serbian. There we're Lin Soulz & Dzo Mur. Go figure.

Kris, how do you say Thriller Award winner in French? :-)
